The Allen County Fire Chiefs Association is made up of all the fire departments and other emergency management agencies within the boarders of Allen County Indiana. The goal of the association is to provide a framework of cooperation and teamwork between all the departments. Typically, each department is represented within the association by their Chief and Assistant Chief. An example of the type of issues the association deals with are mutual aid agreements, county wide S.O.P's and S.O.G's, radio terminology and communications standards.
NIMS 300 & 400
The county is currently considering sponsoring more NIMS 300 and 400 classes. If your department has members interested in these classes, please contact Katrina at the Allen County Homeland Security Office ASAP.

2008 NIMSCAST Deadline

NFA Incident Safety Officer
Free National Fire Academy Incident Safety Officers class. Two day course September 8 & 9 th. Location: Southwest Fire District 7001 Old Trail Road. Fort Wayne, IN 46809. We are proud to announce the completion of our new website. This site is intended to be a central point of information for our agencies. This site can provide viewers with up to date information about what is going on within the association. Additionally, this site provides access to online resources for Fire Chiefs, EMS Chiefs and any other Chief Officers of the association with downloadable forms, ordinances, policies and procedures.
Some of our agencies, such as Huntertown, Southwest and New Haven Adams TWP, are able to share information directly from their sites to ours. Pertinent information such as incident articles and training opportunities can be provided from the department’s links.
